“Fall colors are funny. They’re so bright and intense and beautiful. It’s like nature is trying to fill you up with color, to saturate you so you can stockpile it before winter turns everything muted and dreary.”
― Siobhan Vivian, Same Difference

the colors are the best thing about autumn and you captured it perfectly.
I must tell the story. The day before I was looking for a perfect place to get out of the car and capture the sunlight on the fiery oranges against the dark blue clouds in the background. I just couldn’t find the right spot before the sun fell back behind the clouds.
So the next morning it was overcast and drizzling, but I went for my morning happiness project walk anyway. I was so hoping for the sun to pop out and light up the colors against that dark sky again, but it didn’t . . . until I was back on the road again, with nowhere to pull over. The nerve!
How funny, I’m sorry you didn’t get the picture you wanted, but you did this leaf well.
thank you for the pingback…the color is wonderful….i love the fall color!

Thank you for the link ! 😉
Very welcome!
We do miss the fall colors here in the south – however happy to miss winter dreariness!
I love the changing seasons. But I wouldn’t mind ditching the bitter cold.
