    1. Maybe that is the emotional significance Lucian Freud was trying to avoid. Have you seen his work? Not necessarily depressing. But definitely not cheerful.

      1. I like experiencing the way different art makes me feel. I probably wouldn’t hang Freud’s art on my wall, but I would love to stand in front of it and just experience it.

        I also love the way the photo challenges encourage me to look for certain things. Next week may be dark and dreary, so you never know! It’s like a big ol’ scavenger hunt!
