Weekly Photo Challenge: My Neighborhood

It does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are twenty gods or no God.

~~Thomas Jefferson

Technically, the challenge was Phoneography Weekly Challenge: My Neighborhood, which I posted here, but I really missed the old format and so am posting this one I took with my trusty digital cam.

Trying to make sense of it all and . . . for the most part . . . doing it.

  1. Wow….I keep forgetting how there are others still buried in snow. So … I will not say how the near 60 degrees here is not warm enough yet. *runs before you hit me*

    1. We shoveled again this morning . . . the streets have melted already, though. I don’t mind like most people. There sure are a lot of grumpies walking around right now!

  2. The scene reminds me of growing up in Southern Ontario’s snowbelt. Gasp! I have (mostly) escaped all that by living in Canada’s only warm corner – British Columbia’s extreme southwest – where the climate is similar to that of Seattle. Do the ploughs still come by and fill the mouth of the driveway with heavy slush just after you finish shovelling it out?

    1. The ploughs most certainly do, to much dismay! I have been to Vancouver, which was had a light drizzle but was lovely and green on the day I was there. I’d like to get out that way again someday.
